What a DMCA-style notice should include

Counter-notice (outline)

If material you posted or authorized was removed following a notice, and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to woolnight@icloud.com including:

  1. Identification of the removed material and its former location (URL).
  2. Your name, address, telephone number, and email.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the U.S., for any judicial district in which Woolnight may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material unless the original complainant files an action seeking a court order — timelines and duties depend on applicable law; this outline is informational only.

Repeat infringement

Woolnight may, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate access for users or contributors who are repeat infringers, and may remove or restrict content that repeatedly draws valid infringement claims.

EU Digital Services Act (DSA) — illegal content reports

If you need to report content you believe is illegal under applicable EU law (copyright or otherwise), contact:
