We aim to respond to complete notices promptly. Incomplete notices may be delayed or declined.
What a DMCA-style notice should include
Your written notice should include all of the following (U.S. DMCA-style):
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (or a representative list if multiple works).
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to locate it on Woolnight (include the exact URL or URLs).
- Your contact information (name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent (typing your full legal name can serve as an electronic signature if you intend it as such).
Counter-notice (outline)
If material you posted or authorized was removed following a notice, and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to woolnight@icloud.com including:
- Identification of the removed material and its former location (URL).
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the U.S., for any judicial district in which Woolnight may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material unless the original complainant files an action seeking a court order. Timelines and duties depend on applicable law; this outline is informational only.
Repeat infringement
Woolnight may, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate access for users or contributors who are repeat infringers, and may remove or restrict content that repeatedly draws valid infringement claims.

If you need to report content you believe is illegal under applicable EU law (copyright or otherwise), contact:

Please include the URL(s), a clear description of the alleged illegality, your contact details, and any evidence you can share. We will review reports in good faith.
Third-party ads
Visual ads served by third-party networks are controlled by those networks and advertisers. For ad creatives, you may also use the network’s own copyright report channel (for example, ExoClick’s copyright report form) in addition to notifying Woolnight.
